

1900's - Olof Anderson, a Swedish immigrant, founded the company in 1906 to manufacture residential millwork trim and cabinetry.
1910's - During World War I, Anderson Wood made field blacksmith cabinets and mess tables for the troops in Europe.

1920's - We furnished the architectural millwork for many fine hotels in Miami and New York during the "Roaring 20's".
1930's - Numerous U.S. Post Office buildings constructed under Roosevelt's "Work Projects Administration" were supplied by Anderson Wood.
1940's - Following World War II, we were leaders in the manufacturing of components for the pre-fabricated housing industry.
1950's - Anderson Wood was a major supplier of television and stereo cabinet parts for Zenith, General Electric and RCA.
1960's - Anderson Wood made thousands of maple cutting board dishwasher tops daily as automatic dishwashers became a part of every kitchen.
1970's - We pioneered pre-fabricated replacement bowling lanes made from Rock Maple and Loblolly Pine.

1980's - The "Decade of Disney", we furnished millwork for Epcot Pavilions (French, American, Japanese and Moroccan) and hotels such as The Grand Floridian.
1990's - Entry doors, stair parts, furniture panels and chairs became Anderson Wood specialties. We assembled items for the military and institutional markets.
